Domestic & Commercial Grounds Contractor
for Estate Infrastructure, Stewardship and Maintenance
Pretty Green is a specialist rural grounds and infrastructure contractor working with landowners, estate managers and rural professionals across Hampshire, Berkshire, and the neighbouring counties to assist with various hard and soft landscaping requirements.
Alongside the traditional cosmetic landscaping, we specialise in grounds maintenance, drainage, fencing and hedge boundaries, tree planting, access routes, and ongoing stewardship — working with discretion to prioritise longevity and function to protect land value and prevent infrastructure failure.
Contracting to private and domestic estates, properties, and equestrian sites where reliability, sustainability, and long-term performance matter.
Specialists in rural & estate-scale groundworks where typical projects include:
~ Mature tree supply and planting
~ Instant mature hedging
~ Grounds maintenance and stewardship
~ Land drains, drainage improvement, and surface water management
~ Fencing and boundary infrastructure
~ Turfing, soil improvement and ground reinforcement
~ Access routes, gateways and high-wear ground stabilisation
~ Timber structures such as gallery viewing areas, pergolas, eventing jumps
Providing technically sound practical project solutions that prevent failure, reduces liability and protects land value. We are often brought in before problems escalate, or to correct work that has failed due to poor assessment.
We operate quietly, methodically and with long-term responsibility in mind.
PRETTY GREEN CONTRACTORS
A Phased Approach That Reduces Risk
Our works are structured to prevent failure due to problems being addressed out of order
Phase 1 – Risk Containment & Stabilisation
Drainage and water movement, gateways, and high-risk areas are addressed first to prevent further damage.
Phase 2 – Infrastructure & Boundaries
Land drains, road ways, access routes and supporting groundworks are upgraded for reliability, safety and long-term use.
Phase 3 – Optimisation & Performance
Hedging, tree planting, boundary fencing, soil improvement, turf reinforcement and final works reduce future maintenance and reactive costs. As well as soften the boundaries between lawns and fields .
This approach gives our clients clarity, control, and confidence, with works carried out over a specified timeframe. Some works may not be able to be carried out immediately due to the prevailing weather or adverse ground conditions.
Covering projects from £15,000 to £150,000 across the South

Thank you! "
